This course is specially designed for Senior Cycle Students in order to comprehensively prepare them for the Leaving Certificate Irish Exam.

Course Content
All aspects of the exam are systematically covered as follows:-

i) Oral Irish Exam with mock interview and feedback.
ii) Aural preparation and test with feedback.
iii) Paper 1:-	a. Written & Comprehension. b. Question & Answer technique.
iv) Paper 2:-	a. Poetry. b. Prose. c. Question & Answer technique.

Careful consideration is given to the percentage breakdown of marks given to each section of the exam in order to provide students with the best possible opportunity to score high marks in the exam.
Comprehensive and simple to understand hand outs are given on each aspect of the exam so that students can easily revise closer to the exam.



Supervised Study Time
Supervised study time for other subjects will be built into the course program for students wishing to study other subjects during the course. Former students have noted that the distraction free environment at U.I.S.C.E. makes it ideal for concentrated study in other subjects.

Our teachers are highly motivated and experienced in preparing students for all levels of the Irish Leaving Certificate examination.

Activities
A well earned break from the work is provided by means of the enjoyable activities for which Coláiste U.LS.C.E. has become famous. More of an emphasis exists on land based and indoor sports during our Easter Course as the weather is often unsuitable for watersports. Nevertheless, we aim that everyone shall experience the thrill of watersports at U.I.S.C.E. during the Easter Course. Enjoyment through the Irish language is one of the secret ingredients to the success of Coláiste U.I.S.C.E. courses since our establishment.

Individual Attention
Another one of our ingredients is our commitment to quality not quantity, and in keeping with this motto our Easter Course is limited to 20 students, ensuring individual attention, tuition and providing excellent value for money.

Ardchinnirí, Cúntóirí
The course also provides an insight into the job as a prefect during our Summer Courses. Students attending our Easter Course will be given priority during the selection of our prefects for the Summer.
